We welcome your registration/report!

All retailers and wholesalers must report sales of fishing gear containing plastic if they have purchased from companies outside Sweden.

Fiskekretsen’s goal is to balance expenditures and income over time. We will charge an annual membership fee, which is currently SEK 6,000 excl. VAT and SEK 10 per reported kg.
2025: SEK 6,000 in service fee & SEK 5/kg. We have collected SEK 10/kg on a preliminary basis. The difference will be credited. 2026: SEK 4,500 in service fee per member. For the system to be fair, everyone needs to participate and report accurate data. At the annual final settlement in March, covering the previous year, the submitted information must be verified by each company’s auditor.
The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket) will conduct ongoing inspections of companies that are not registered in the system.
