NEW from 1/1 2026
When the collection container at your facility is full, go to the Stena portal: www.stenarecycling.se
There you need to log in in order to place an order for emptying of the container/pallet.
Most likely you are registered as an ÅVC (recycling center), in which case you simply follow the instructions.
If you cannot find your ÅVC among the registered ones, send an email to your nearest Stena branch with the following information:
- Fiskekretsen AB
- Which ÅVC it concerns and the exact address
- Opening hours
- Type of container
Stena will then register your ÅVC and order the emptying. Next time you need a pickup, go into the Stena portal, click on your ÅVC and follow the instructions. If you have any problems, contact joakim.stenberg@branschkansliet.se or +46 708-97 67 56.
We have an agreement with Stena Recycling, which is available in 90 locations in Sweden. When they collect, they will provide you with a replacement container. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee pallet-for-pallet or container-for-container exchanges.
If trawls or large nets come in, they must be forwarded to Sotenäs. You contact Fiskekretsen as usual. At Avfall Sverige, you can download the symbol for the collection of end-of-life fishing gear.
Feel free to create a sign: https://www.sverigesorterar.se/
No agreement is needed between the municipality and Fiskekretsen, but you may download an agreement template from Avfall Sverige if you wish.
