Through Fiskekretsen, we can work together to reduce plastic waste in marine environments, increase recycling rates, and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

To fulfill this producer responsibility, Fiskekretsen has developed a plan outlining how the collection and recycling of fishing gear will be organized. This includes establishing collection stations at municipal recycling centers and collaborating with Stena Recycling. Furthermore, Fiskekretsen will conduct information campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of properly handling fishing gear once it has reached the end of its use.
